Montenegrin amateur radio pool ( MARP ), is pleased to invite high speed telegraphy (HST) teams, individual competitors and visitors/guests from all over the world to the 17th IARU HST World Championship to be held in Republic of Montenegro from 10-14 September 2021.
Venue:Herceg Novi ( Igalo ) located about 120 km south-west of the capital Podgorica.

10th September, Friday – Arrival, accommodation, official opening, team leader meeting, Jury meeting; meals ( lunch, dinner )
11 th September, Saturday – Competition, awarding; meals ( full board )
12 th September, Sunday – Competition, awarding; meals ( full board )
13 th September, Monday – Excursion, awarding and banquet; meals ( full board )
14 th September, Tuesday – Departure; meals ( breakfast )

Competition categories:
Paragraph B2.1 from the rules
A national team participating in IARU HST Championships may consist of any number up to a maximum of 27 (twenty-seven) COMPETITORS in the following 9 (nine) categories:
"A" Not more than THREE "YOUNGSTER FEMALES" (competitors belong to the category up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 16);
"B" Not more than THREE "YOUNGSTER MALES" (competitors belong to the category up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 16);
"C" Not more than THREE "JUNIOR FEMALES" (Competitors belong to the category up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 21);
"D" Not more than THREE 'JUNIOR MALES" (Competitors belong to the category up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 21);
"E" Not more than THREE "FEMALES" (Competitors may compete in this category regardless of their age).
"F" Not more than THREE "MALES" (Competitors may compete in this category regardless of their age);
“G” Not more than THREE "SENIOR FEMALES” (Competitors aged 40 or older belong to the category from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the given age);
“H” Not more than THREE "SENIOR MALES” (Competitors aged 40 or older belong to the category up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 49);
“I” Not more than THREE "SENIOR MALES” (Competitors aged 50 or older belong to the category from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the given age);

Transportation:
Suitable transportation will be organized upon request.
Cost of transportantion will depend on number of passangers and airport in question ( Podgorica - TGD, Tivat - TIV, Dubrovnik - DBV )
Precise cost of transfer can not be set at this point.
Approximate cost for individual transfer ( dedicated vehicle ) from Tivat or Dubrovnik will vary in a range between 25-40 EUR, while cost for individual transfer from Podgorica will be in a range between 70-90 EUR
Cost for group will be available upon concrete request.
We kindly ask participants who would need transfer to contact organizing committee well in advance and avoid last minute arrangements.

COVID-19 bulletin and instructions for safe and responsible behavior
General Information
This Covid-19 Bulletin has been developed to protect competitors, team members, organizers and officials from becoming infected by the Covid-19 virus. Many of them are probably not yet vaccinated and therefore in higher risk of being infected than many other groups. There is also an increased risk due to new, and more contagious variants of the virus becoming prevalent and caution is therefore needed. As vaccinated persons can spread the disease, the rules need to apply to all persons in contact with competitors and team members.
All regulations stated in this Covid-19 Bulletin are valid for the participants during the duration of the whole event.
Personal responsibility
- We want to stress to both organizers and every participant their personal responsibility, which is a key element of mutual success.
- Reduce your social contacts to an absolute minimum. Avoid all places with a higher risk of infection. Act and take care responsibly.
Responsibility to report illness during the championship
- If anyone starts to feel sick, especially with the symptoms of Covid-19 disease such as fever, loss of smell or taste, cough, fatigue, headache, sore throat, cold or runny nose, shortness of breath, diarrhea, or unexplained loss of appetite, he/she is obligated immediately to seek medical help, notify his/her team leader and representative of the organizing committee
- The affected person, and any roommate, shall immediately self-isolate. Notifications to other team members should be made.
- If diagnosed with Covid-19, specific steps may come in action affecting more than just the infected person, such as contact tracing and the quarantining of persons who have been in close contact.
Daily life
- Keep social distance, at least 2 meters.
- Face mask off only during competitions, drinking/eating. Masks have a limited re-use. Dispose of them frequently.
- Wash hands frequently using soap (from the dispenser) and use sanitizer/disinfectant.
- Personal responsibility is expected from all participants!
Dining
- In the accommodation you will most probably meet other teams and sometimes even guests out of the participants.
- Keep social distancing.
- Face mask off only during your meal/drinking.
- We truly recommend spending as little time as possible in the shared dining rooms.
Ceremonies
- we recommend participants to wear a face mask.
- Sportsmen may be able to briefly take off masks on the podium, for example for national anthem and podium photos.
Team leaders are asked to carefully and thoroughly make acquaint all participants in their teams (competitors, officials, members of the Jury, visitors, etc.) with the following instructions for safe and responsible behavior, as well as to monitor its implementation.
Finally:
The current pandemic situation is changing rapidly, with the possible change of specific mandatory measures during the events. In such situation the Team leaders will be notified accordingly.
